Adelle Whitefoot graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2012 with a bachelor’s in writing, and left with a plan to be a journalist. But plans change.

Her first job was at the local daily newspaper in Marquette, Mich., The Mining Journal, and it was there she found her love and passion for photography.

Though she left her photography job for personal reasons and a hope for better opportunities in Minnesota, she continues to have a passion for photography and a need to get back to what she loves. Nothing would make Whitefoot more happy than to be given a chance to become a photographer once again.

In the meantime, Whitefoot shoots portraits and special events to keep that passion in her life while she covers the K-12 education beat at the Duluth News Tribune.
